Itinerary & Adventure Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Papeete, Tahiti

On arrival in Papeete you will be greeted with a flower lei welcome and  transfered to your  hotel. You will spend your first two nights on the island of Tahiti as you ease your way into the Polynesia way of life.

Day 2: Papeete – Adventure Day

Discover the southern peninsula of Tahiti Iti with a boat ride along the coast. Begin your tour at the world famous Teahupoo, the famed wave that the world’s best surfers flock to each August for the WSL competition. From there, cruise along the Fenua ‘Aihere and marvel at untamed landscapes reminiscent of the Marquesas. Head up the Vaipoiri River for a chance to walk in the mape forest and swim in the tide pools. You will cross the maoti, where the reef no longer protects the shore, to visit Fa’aroa Bay, bird cliffs and underwater caves before arriving at Motu Fenua, a Tuamotu-style islet. On the return home, you will stop at a sandbank for a leisurely afternoon swim. Enjoy a lunch of fresh Polynesian cuisine at Vanira Lodge.

Day 3: Ferry to Moorea

Today, you’ll transfer to ferry dock for a quick 35- minute boat ride to the island of Moorea, the closest of the islands in the Society group. Moorea’s enchanted magic is the combination of lush mountains and sparkling lagoons. Moorea offers variety of activities on land and sea.

Day 4: Moorea Hiking

Explore the lush terrain of Moorea on a guided hike. Available in varying degrees of difficulty, your selected tour will allow you to visit various archaeological sites, pineapple fields, the ancient volcano caldera and crater, as well as multiple lookout points offering breathtaking panoramic views of the island.

Day 5: Moorea Humpback Whale Swim and Snorkel Tour in season or Half Day Shark swim

Today is the day for adventure and exploration! Explore the depths of Moorea’s spectacular lagoon with an expedition tour that will immerse you in the rich marine life of Moorea’s reef and lagoon ecosystem. Take to the open seas for a unique experiences with majestic humpback whales and spinner dolphins that will leave you breathless. Additionally, this half-day cruise includes personal encounters with pink whipray stingrays and blacktip reef sharks and drifting through a channel towards the outer reef to observe leopard rays and grey sharks beneath you, Operates July 15 – November 15. During other seasons a Ray and Shark Snorkel will be offered.

Day 6: Moorea to Bora Bora

Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Bora Bora. On arrival, you’ll take a short boat ride to your resort on the beautiful Bora Bora lagoon. Settle in this afternoon by spending time on the beach or paddling a kayak or paddle board in the lush blue waters.

Day 7: Bora Bora – Jet ski, Shark and Ray Snorkel and Lunch

Take in the sights of Bora Bora’s spectacular lagoons by jet ski. Along the way stop and enjoy a leisurely stroll on a private motu. After your jet ski excursion swim with sharks and stingrays in a stunning shallow coral garden. Finish this amazing tour with lunch at the famous Bloody Mary’s restaurant on Bora Bora.

 

Day 8: Bora Bora Sunset Cruise

 Enjoy a romantic sunset cruise around the lagoon. You`ll glide across the shallow waters of the island`s famous turquoise lagoon and enjoy complimentary champagne served in a fresh coconut. Photography is also included, meaning you`ll leave with 100 photos to remind you of the experience.

 

Day 9: Bora Bora to Rangiroa

Today you continue your exploration of Tahitian islands as you fly to Rangiroa in the Tuamotu Islands.

Rangiroa, the world’s 2nd largest atoll and one of the worlds greatest destinations for snorkeling and  scuba diving.  A visit to a Black Pearl farm is also a must do while visiting Rangiroa. (Diving optional).

1Day 10: Rangiroa Dolphin Watching

Venture out to the edge of the reef at the mouth of the Tiputa Pass to watch the playful dolphins while accompanied by an experienced captain. This afternoon take a bike ride around the island to explore maybe making a stop at the local wine cellar. (Optional Diving for Scuba Divers today.)

 

Day 11: Rangiroa Pink Sand Beach Picnic

Enjoy an afternoon exploring Rangiroa`s pink sand beach. You`ll journey by boat to the southeast side of the atoll and discover the colorful hues of this immaculate region. Known for the transparency of its lagoon, it`s the perfect place to swim and encounter a variety of marine life. The tour includes a delicious picnic lunch prepared from local ingredients, which you’ll enjoy on a small, private motu. Depending on the tide, you may even have time to see dolphins in the Tiputa Pass before heading back to the hotel.

Day 12: Rangiroa to Tikehau

Fly to Tikehau today to one of the most tranquil and secluded locations on your adventure.

Day 13: The Lagoon of Tikehau

Journey by boat across the lagoon to unspoiled motu islets. Visit “Bird Island” to discover a wild island that is home to many species of birds: several varieties of boobies, the brown noddy, frigates, and the elegant fairy tern to name a few. Enjoy snorkeling to see the amazing undersea flora and fauna that live in these clear, colorful waters followed by a freshly prepared Polynesian lunch.

This afternoon spend time lounging on a Pink Sand beach as you reflect on your days spent in paradise.

 

Day 14: Depart Tikehau and fly to the US.

Take the short flight over to Papeete to connect to your flight back to the US.
