Itinerary & Adventure Highlights
Day 1: Sydney
On arrival in Sydney, transfer to your centrally located hotel. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure, relaxing from your flight or exploring the city on your own.

Day 2: Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb
Today you will make your way to the Rocks District to begin your climbing adventure. Suit up for the ‘climb of your life’ and enjoy spectacular views from the top of the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. The climb is moderate, and you will enjoy informative commentary from your guide as you ascend the bridge. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure to explore the city at your own pace.
Day 3: Blue Mountains National Park
In the morning, your guide will pick you up for this small group eco tour to the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage Region. The first stop of the day is Calmsley Hill, a working farm and home to kangaroos, emus, wombats and koalas. Next stop is Evans Lookout, where you are provided with a lunch pack, map, and instructions for the hiking trail (hiking time approx. 2 hours). Enjoy sweeping views across Australia’s Grand Canyon, The Grose Valley, where the magnificent waterfalls drop nearly 600 feet down a dramatic cliff. The last stop is the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens, where you’ll stop briefly to enjoy the views and a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice, before heading back to the city.
Day 4: Sydney to Ayers Rock / Uluru
Enjoy breakfast before heading to the Sydney airport for your flight to Ayers Rock. Early this evening, venture into the outback landscape to the sundowner dinner, Sounds of Silence. This unique dining experience offers sprawling views of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, while enjoying an authentic Australian BBQ. After the sun sets, enjoy the star gazing of the southern night sky before transferring back to your hotel.
Day 5: Ayers Rock / Uluru
Early this morning, watch the stars of the outback sky fade into sunrise over the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, as you prepare to trek around the full base of Uluru and discover the cultural significance of this monolith. This full base walk gives you the opportunity to truly immerse yourself in the beautiful culture and history of this amazing place. The hike is just over 7 miles and includes a local guide, who will point out ancient sites and explain the culture, geology and history of this special National Park area. You will enjoy a picnic breakfast during your hike, as you take in your stunning surroundings.
Day 6: Ayers Rock / Uluru to Cairns and Port Douglas
Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the airport for your flight to Cairns. On arrival in Cairns, you will head approx. 1 hour north to the charming beachfront town of Port Douglas.

Day 7: Great Barrier Reef
Today explore the world’s largest coral reef system on a catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef. You will have the opportunity to snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon, go scuba diving, or join the marine biologist on a guided snorkel safari. Also get another perspective of the reef from the semi-submersible reef viewer, glass bottom boat or underwater observatory.
Day 8: Cape Tribulation, Daintree & Mossman Gorge
Today explore the rainforest and amazing landscapes of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Park wilderness area on this small group eco tour. Your day’s journey begins on one of Australia’s scenic Highways before arriving at Mossman Gorge. Your expert eco guide will take you for a guided walk, sharing their knowledge of this enchanting rainforest environment and wildlife, including birds, tree snakes and crocodile. Walk on this world-renowned rainforest beach, admiring the coastline and fringing coral reef from the Kulki Lookout. After enjoying a tropical lunch, take in the spectacular lookout over the Daintree River estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea. En route back to Port Douglass, re-cross the mighty Daintree River by cable ferry – one of the last of its kind!
Day 9: Wildlife Habitat, Port Douglas to Cairns
You are in for a special treat today, a private tour at the Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat…including the opportunity to cuddle a koala, with photographic proof! You’ll get a behind the scenes look at the Rehabilitation Centre and the animals in their care, enjoy a private reptile presentation, and interact with the unique Australian wildlife. Truly a day to remember! In the afternoon, head to Cairns for your final night.
